American Heart Movie

If you haven`t heard, what started out as a little concert in Northampton Mass turned into a Movie...American Heart. Dave Mech and Doug Potoksky went to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC where they met Cpl. Josh Sparling and his dad Mike. (Thanks to the Eckers) They interviewed troops and then traveled to NYC on 9-11-07 and to Woodstock NY. What they found was a six month slice of American Pie, a piece of American Heart.

First Aid for our Troops has joined forces with America`s Wounded Heroes which was started by Josh and his dad. Josh and his dad. A portion of the proceeds of the film will go to America`s Wounded Heroes, helping Soldiers and their families when they need it most.

You can donate directly at www.americaswoundedheroes.org!!

The Premier of American Heart will take place iat The Tinker St. Conema in Woodstock, NY, on April 11, 2008 at 9:00 pm and April 12 at 2:00 pm. go to www.tinkerstreetcinema.com or email Dave at ccobrecords@aol.com

You are a huge part of this and will be part of the documentary on the show, the troops and the mission we have just begun.

Speaking of the documentary, we are working on the documentary of the show, including interviews with the Summer of Love Bands, the troops and our mission. We will keep you all updated....

For now, check out the brief slide show of First Aid, July 1, 2007. The song, `Rescue Me" by Brian Jesse will be featured in the documentary.

For those who could not attend, you can make a donation by clicking on the credit card link. All donations will go directly to soldiers and families in need, not to First Aid... all donations received from July 12 -July 22 will go to the family of Army Staff Sgt. Daniel Newsome of Chicopee, MA, who was killed in action on June 27, 2007. Our support and prayers go to Staff Sgt. Newsome`s family and friends.

To those who did not attend due to the mysterious "Sold Out" posting ...I would like to hear from you contact me at dave@rudyrecords.biz.

For now......once again, thank you all for your support.
